Properties: This product is also known as sym-tetrachloroethane, it is non-flammable and non-explosive, colorless and transparent liquid. Its melting point is -44¡æ£¨-36¡æ£©, the boiling point is 146.5¡æ. Its relative density is 1.58658g/cm3 at 62 ¡ãC (45mm Hg) and refractive index is 1.49418 £¨25/4¡æ£©. It is miscible with ethanol, methanol, chloroform, benzene, carbon tetrachloride, carbon disulfide, petroleum ether, dimethyl amide and oil while it is difficultly soluble in water. The product will volatile with water steam. It has chloroform smell. The impure product is readily to decompose to yield hydrogen chloride and trichloroethylene while the pure product is stable. The product is acid stable but readily to decompose to yield trichloroethylene in the existence of alkali.

Packaging and Storage: Contained in steel& plastic composite drums with the capacity of 200 liters. The net weight of each drum is 300 kg. Stored in a cool dry place with good ventilation.
